The Color Brave is not just an ordinary coloring book but a work of art designed to inspire, motivate, and encourage those on the journey of life. Conceived and beautifully illustrated by a cancer survivor, this book contains therapeutic coloring pages filled with intricate designs, uplifting quotes, and inspirational messages. I Illustrated this book in an effort to encourage cancer patients walking the same path I have. These quotes and scriptures used throughout the book are inspiration I clung to during my own treatment. I reached out to every quote holder I used in the book to ensure they were OK that I referenced them. This was one of the neatest things I did through the creation of this book, reaching out to the people that inspired me. I hope you enjoy coloring it as much as I enjoyed making it.
The most exciting part of this project is having the opportunity to “pay it forward.” A portion of the proceeds from the Color Brave line will sponsor a scholarship supporting a student who lost a parent to cancer. I cannot image the impact that would have on a young person and if we can help take one burden off their already full plate, then it’s been worth the journey.
